Our Story

Established in 2017, Ignite was created to fill the void between the large volleyball factories of the region and the area Boys & Girls Clubs trying to provide volleyball to the masses.

The foundational idea in creating Ignite was that athletes love the sport of volleyball and pursue that passion through organized training such as Clubs, Camps and Clinics. Our belief was that we could support and help build on their dream without so much of the drama we saw at other clubs.

Through direct and anecdotal experiences, we found many examples of what we wanted to fix about the Club experience. Traveling the Region, we witnessed uninspired players and coaches who had checked out. We sat awestruck as we listened to coaches openly berate their athletes and sadly watched love and passion turn to disdain on numerous occasions.

We knew the region and its athletes deserved better and we set out to create a club that would stoke the volleyball passions of the region and our members. Beginning with our motto “Ignite Your Dream” and staying the course by following our Core Values we stormed the courts in 2017 with the goal of restoring that love of volleyball in our members.

Exponential growth each year proves that we have that special sauce, and we are very proud to serve our members in a way that makes them proud to say We Are Ignite!
